HUTH URGES LEICESTER CITY TO SIGN ARSENAL TRANSFER TARGET THIS SUMMER
Leicester City have entered the race for Arsenal transfer target Houssem Aouar as they attempt to bring in their first summer signing. The transfer window hasn’t been an exciting one for Leicester City fans, with multiple players linked with a move away and goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel leaving the club, signing for Nice. So far, Brendan Rodgers has failed to strengthen his squad, and after a disappointing season, they could fall further down the Premier League table.
Aouar can play in a host of positions, having played in the number ten, in a deeper role, as well as out wide, making him a useful option if he was to join Leicester in the coming weeks. Arsenal have already completed a number of signings this summer already including that of Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko, both from Manchester City, as well as other players while they have also sanctioned some player exits from the Emirates Stadium as well.
However, it seems like the Gunners are not content yet and still want to complete more signings before the summer transfer window closes in a few weeks. With Leicester City also interested in Aouar this summer, their former defender and captain Robert Huth has urged the Foxes to complete the midfielder’s signing ahead of Arsenal this sumer.
